Desired Qualifications
- Four-year civil engineering degree or ability to obtain degree within 2 years.
- E.I.T. Certification or ability to pass within 6 months.
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary design team including Architect, Landscape Architect, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineers and other designers.
- Experience with design and/or drafting using Civil 3d is a plus.
- Ability to coordinate with team members in international locations is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Insatiable desire to learn Civil Engineering Design.
- Design & Drafting of commercial, residential and industrial civil engineering projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software.
- Create and manipulate surfaces and calculate earthwork volumes.
- Grading, drainage, water, sewer, residential layout & roadway design
- Provide technical support to other engineers, designers and drafters as needed.
- Work at the direction of the Principal/Project Manager.
- Perform site visits and inspections
