Central Chapter Dinner Meeting: 

Sun Devil Stadium Presentation

This presentation will provide an overview of the recent reinvention of Sun Devil Stadium.  Renovation projects present unique challenges that require thoughtful decisions and we will explore some of these topics.  The previous presentation in 2016 focused on Phase 1 and this presentation will discuss some of the lessons learned and how that affected the path forward for Sun Devil Stadium.

Erich Martz, PE, SE and Lindsey Schultz, SE, PE

Erich Martz, is a registered structural engineer in the HNTB Corporation Kansas City office with over 34 years of building design experience.  He has worked on a wide range of project types including Sports Venues, Aviation, Hospitality, Health, and Parking, He a member of the American Concrete Institute and voting member of Committee 362, Design and Construction of Durable Concrete Parking Structures, and is a past secretary and chairman of the committee. Erich received his B.S. and Masters Degree at the University of Missouri.   

Lindsey Schultz, is a registered structural engineer in Meyer Borgman Johnson’s (MBJ) Tempe office with 13 years of building design experience.  Prior to joining MBJ in 2014, Lindsey was at Paragon Structural Design.  Lindsey received her B.S. degree at Southern Illinois University where she was a member of the volleyball team.  She received her Masters degree in structural engineering at Purdue University.
