Simpson Strong Tie Product and Software Update

Simpson has a long history of working closely with the engineering community in developing and providing products that fill your needs. Simpson enjoys the opportunity to update engineers on what's changed and what's new with the products they offer. The presentation will cover the latest additions to their product lines and focusing in particular on lateral connections and systems such as the Strong-Wall Shearwall system and ATS systems as well as the new Outdoor Accent products geared toward homeowners. These are new connectors that are code listed and have listed values that are also meant to be used in an exterior applications.  Jorge will also cover the latest changes to their software.

 Biographical Sketch of Jorge Ruiz

Jorge is the Arizona Senior Territory Manager and has 26 years experience with Simpson Strong-Tie in the Southwest Market. His responsibilities consist of servicing the entire state of Arizona. Visiting with Specifiers solving design issues, Building Officials  and engineers discussing product use and limitations, contractors explaining installation questions and field issues, distributors cost and availability questions as well as with owners discussing the cost and price of using Simpson on their projects.
